Free to play, be decent to the people in the world with you, and nothing we ever sell will make a hero stronger.

Plain terms for a small game. If any of it reads as unfair, write to us rather than assuming the worst — there is no legal department here, only the two of us.
Orbfall is free to play. You may play it, host worlds in it and let your friends into them, for nothing, for as long as it is up. Playing on your own needs no account.
Worlds in Orbfall have children in them. So:
Break these and you can be put out of a world, or out of all of them. On the always-on world the language filter issues a warning by itself, and five warnings is a ban.
Your account is yours. Do not lend it and do not use somebody else's. If you lose the email address on it we may have no way to prove the account is yours, which is the honest reason to use an address you will keep.
You may close your account whenever you like by writing to us, and we will delete it and the save behind it. We may close an account being used to break the rules above.
Premium is not on sale yet. When it is, it will be a monthly subscription that raises how many worlds you may host and lets you choose your own room codes. It will never sell anything that makes a hero stronger — no swords, no levels, no loot boxes, no advantage of any kind over somebody who paid nothing. If we ever break that promise, this sentence is the one to hold us to. A subscription can be cancelled at any time and runs to the end of the period already paid for.
The game is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be up, that a world will never lose a character, or that a feature will still be there next month — and we are not liable for lost progress, lost time or lost worlds. Two people cannot honestly promise otherwise. What we will do is keep the always-on world's characters on a disk that survives a redeploy, and say on the front page when something is broken.
We may change the game or stop it, or any world in it. If the always-on world is going away for good we will say so before it does rather than after.
The game, its art, its code, its writing and its name are ours. Play it, record it, stream it, show your friends — all of that is fine and encouraged. Selling it, or passing it off as yours, is not.
